The Tick-Borne Disease Clinic (TBD Clinic) is one of the first private clinics focusing on Tick-borne diseases and was established after recognising the need for specialised services for Lyme and other Tick-borne diseases. Founder of the TBD Clinic, Georgia Tuckey , is joined by GP Dr Marek Fabrowski, both having vast experience and knowledge of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases.
The TBD Clinic is a team of Tick-borne diseases specialists who are dedicated to offering the highest quality services treating all tick-borne diseases, such as Lyme diseases (Borrelia), Bartonella, Babesia etc, with the latest advancements in management of these illnesses.
The TBD Clinic provides diagnostic and treatment services for tick-borne diseases, with our patients being the centre of our services provided. When booking your consultation, it is important to know that this can be provided as a remote consultation and/or in-clinic consultation at our premises in Worthing, West Sussex, to allow for ease of access to our patients due to travel distance or illness.
To ensure the very best outcomes for our patients, the Tick-Borne Disease clinic uses the latest research and evidence base about this group of diseases. As such, both Georgia and Marek (pending) are members of International Lyme and Associated Disease Society (ILADS).
ILADS membership enables clinicians to access comprehensive, research-based guidelines and expert training for the management of these illnesses.

Georgia Tuckey
Director & Founder
CEO, Nurse Consultant, RN, Independent Prescriber and ILADS member
Having over 30 years in health, prescribing for 17 years and specialising in tick-borne diseases since 2019, Georgia has extensive knowledge and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne diseases and the impact that these can have on patients and families.
Georgia has trained with other renowned tick-borne diseases specialists such as Dr Berkowitz. Georgia applies an insightful assessment/evaluation in determining the role infection may play in the development of a broad range of symptoms, to inform medication and treatment plans in collaboration with the patient.
Georgia’s expertise in tick-borne infections provides value when collaborating with other specialists (link to article reference to multi-professional working), e.g. cardiologists, to improve outcomes for patients with Lyme and co-infections.
Georgia has experience in the complexities of tick-borne diseases and a special interest in neuropsychiatric disorders and those affected by the associated persisting infection(s). Georgia was one of the founders of the PANS/PANDAS UK Charity, where she was chairperson from 2018-2022, establishing the All-Party Parliamentary Group which led to greater recognition and awareness of this condition. The charity continues to make great strides to further understanding PANS/PANDAS.
Georgia has been instrumental in the creation and development of the Tick-Borne Diseases Working Group – UK & Ireland (link to TBDWG website), bringing her expertise and leadership experience to the tick-borne diseases arena.
Dr Mark (aka Marek) Fabrowski
General Medical Practitioner

Dr Marek is a highly experienced clinician who is a General Practitioner with a special interest in complex, multisystem conditions and patient-centred care. Having worked extensively across both urgent and primary care settings, he brings a broad clinical perspective and a thoughtful approach to the assessment and management of patients whose symptoms may not fit neatly into conventional diagnostic pathways.
His particular areas of interest include tick-borne diseases, fibromyalgia (ME, CFS), POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome), PPS (post-polio syndrome), MUS (medically unexplained symptoms), proactive care, and multidisciplinary support for patients with complex health needs. Patients value his ability to listen carefully, consider the whole person, and help navigate challenging or long-standing conditions with clarity and compassion.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Fabrowski is a Medical Advisor to the Long COVID-19 Foundation and an active researcher. His published work https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Mark-Fabrowski has explored novel aspects of COVID-19, including its interaction with the gut microbiome and the application of advanced laboratory techniques such as immunofluorescence microscopy, proteomics, and D-amino acid analysis.
He is involved in ongoing research, has contributed nationally as an Expert Panel Member for the British Polio Fellowship (2015-2025 – having co-authored a guide for healthcare professionals on Post Polio Syndrome) and continues to support the UK and Ireland Tick-Borne Diseases Working Group as a Clinical Academic.
Having previously worked in both hospital and general practice environments, Dr Fabrowski now combines part-time NHS practice with his work at the TBD Clinic, seeing a variety of patient presentations. This blend of NHS and specialist experience enables him to provide evidence-informed, personalised care for individuals facing complex, chronic, and often poorly understood health conditions.
