The TBD clinic takes health and safety very seriously. This statement will be reviewed in accordance with government guidance.
What we are doing to keep you safe
The TBD Clinic recognises that the strain of coronavirus SARS coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) which results in the disease COVID-19 is an ever-changing situation. The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the outbreak of COVID-19 a pandemic on 11 March 2020. As healthcare providers, ensuring robust infection control and business continuity plans form part of preparing business at The TBD Clinic for any events that can cause disruption to the normal business.
The TBD Clinic ensures staff are aware and understand the importance of pandemic preparedness and carry out preparations by following the checklist in the Pandemic Policy and Procedure at The TBD Clinic. The TBD Clinic understands that business continuity planning involves all aspects of the business, and to be effective, The TBD Clinic must work with its partners, suppliers and commissioners to ensure that a safe and effective service can be maintained.
The TBD Clinic understands its responsibility for ensuring that staff follow good infection control and prevention techniques. The TBD Clinic ensures that staff has access to reliable information to reduce anxiety and dispel any myths and inaccurate information that may cause worry or distress to staff, patients, or the wider public.
In order to maintain the optimum level of safety for all our patients and staff, WE ARE ASKING FOR ALL CLIENTS TO WEAR A FACE MASK/ COVERING TO APPOINTMENTS unless medically exempt.
Please try to arrive no more than 5 mins before your appointment. You are welcome to wait for your appointment either in our waiting area or if you prefer, in the front garden if weather permits.
The frequency of cleaning at the clinic has been increased, and all clinic surfaces are being disinfected between appointments. Where possible entry doors are kept open to avoid unnecessary contact with door handles, and windows are kept open where possible to ensure movement of air.
Please inform us prior to setting off for your appointment if you have had a covid positive test in the last 28 days.
